License Management

SiteBuilder License controls the limitations of SiteBuilder accounts. The license key defines the maximum number of hosts you can add in the list of allowed hosts and the maximum number of sites per one host. The license has its own expiry date.

There are two types of SiteBuilder license keys: default (demo) key and regular key. The default license key is shipped with SiteBuilder and cannot be updated. When your default license key expires, the program switches to the demo mode (Users cannot publish their sites).

To activate full functionality of SiteBuilder software, purchase the SiteBuilder license with a regular license key. The regular key can be updated (for example, you can add more permissions to your SiteBuilder account) and its lifetime can be prolonged. When the regular license key expires, all the program options become unavailable except for the license management screen. The only way to restore it is to update your license key.

To update your license

  1. Click Main on the navigation pane.
  2. Click License Management. The License Management screen appears. Here you can view the current state of your license.
