Deleting Rows, Columns, and Cells

When working with a table, you may need to delete unnecessary rows, columns, or cells.

To delete rows, columns, or cells from a table

  1. Place the cursor in a row, column, or cell that you want to delete (you can delete only one element at a time)
  2. Click one of the following icons:
