Publishing in Guest Mode

This section assumes that you are creating a site in the guest mode. Select the Publish tab at the top of the SiteBuilder's window to access the last stage of site creation. A window will appear which is a bit more complex than that in the regular user mode.

The further actions depend on whether you have a regular user account or not.

If you have it, just fill out the provided FTP Login, FTP Server, Password, and FTP Working Directory fields with the values corresponding to your account. Press the Publish web site button to copy the site to your account.

If you do not have a regular user account, the only option you have is to remember the string written in the Site identity field. You can command the program to send it to your email. If you do not like it, you can edit it in the field and press the Change my site identity button. Site identity is a unique identifier of your site in the SiteBuilder's temporary storage.

When you receive a regular user account, you could transfer your site created in the guest mode using the site identity provided at the publishing process. In order to accomplish this, go to the login page and there provide your login and password and fill the Site Identity field with the one you were told during the publishing process. The content will be moved to your regular account.

Warning: It is recommended to store the files in your FTP working directory in a safe location before the publishing because they will be overwritten by new files during the process.
