Configuring IP Black List
A customer IP address of a computer used to save a credit card is detected automatically. This can be either the IP address of a computer used by a customer either to connect to your online store and to pay for services ordered or to connect to a Control Panel and pay an Order or an Invoice online.
The Black IP Addresses list allows composing the list of suspicious IP addresses or IP ranges and checking whether a customer IP address belongs to this list or not.
To add an IP address or an IP range to the Black IP List:
- Click the Add IP Range button on the plug-in screen.
- Fill the form that appears:
- Type the IP range name into the IP Range Name field. This is the name the IP range will be referred to in Parallels Business Automation - Standard. You can enter any alphanumeric identifier you consider convenient.
- To use this particular IP range in fraud filters, you can check the Enabled box.
- Select, what you want to add by setting th option button to one of the following:
- Single IP address to add one IP address. Type the IP address into the IP address field next to this option.
- IP Range to specify an IP range in the first IP - last IP form. Enter the first and the last IP addresses in the range into the corresponding fields below this option.
- IP Range (IP & Mask) to specify the IP range that corresponds to a class. The main form is used to match a single IP addresses, e.g., such as 192.168.1.1 with a netmask in a bits form (the number of ones (1's)) on the left side of the network mask. For example, 24 for a 255.255.255.0 netmask.
- Click the Save button.
Repeat the steps described above to add as many IP ranges as needed.
