To adjust Container parameters, Select Service Director - Virtuozzo Manager - Container.
To change parameters of the selected Container, click the Edit button within the selected group of Container properties;
Note: If Container parameters will be changed in this way, a mismatch in Subscription and actual Container parameters may occur.In order to fix the mismatch you can synchronize Container parameters with Subscription.
To view details for particular Container, click on its ID or name at the common list. Container details are grouped into eight sets (with appropriate tab for each set): General Settings, Configuration, Hostnames, Network, Hardware, Applications, Resources, and Backups. General settings are being displayed first, by default.
General settings include default hostname, current status, Account (click to view details), OS template, Container class, if this Container trial or not (green tick indicates that certain trial period provided), trial period, comment (optionally) and subscription basics (Order ID and Hosting Plan name - click to view details).
Note: In case Container was created for Provider Account, you can reassign such Container to another Account. The Change Account button will appear at Container General Settings screen. However, you will need to select new Hosting Plan (or custom configuration, i.e., Container class and OS template) for such Container. After Container reassigned, appropriate Order for the Account the Container was reassigned will be created. Actual Container reassignment depends on the Billing Manager settings (apply changes immediately or after payment will be received). In the first case Container will be actually reassigned and Order together with Invoice will be created. In the second case, Order will be created, and Container will look like it was still assigned to Provider Account (if you look in the List of Containers); actual assignment will be performed automatically as soon as payment will be received.
Configuration screen demonstrates such QoS parameters as CPU limit and Disk quota. In addition number of static and dynamic IP addresses is indicated. To view the full list of QoS parameters, click the Show Advanced Options button.
To see, which hostnames exist for Container selected, click on Hostnames tab at the top menu.
Click the Edit button to create new subdomains or change Container hostname.
Network, Hardware and Applications screens include information about Container IP address(es), current Rack/Hardware Node and Applications installed respectively. In addition, Application section allows installing new Applications in the Container selected.
IN order to view resource usage statistics for Container selected, click the Resources tab. The appearance of the screen is similar to Service Level Manager.
Click on View Statistics link to view detailed resource usage statistics for the selected Container.
Within Statistics screen, you can select the resource (traffic, CPU usage, and disk space usage), set specification (hourly, daily, etc.) and the period for the report. You can also change the diagram size (small, medium, or large). To this effect click on appropriate link at the top of the screen. Click the Submit button to get the report. The diagram will be displayed on the screen.
