I receive the error, .."install.php script has not been run via the command line..."

This is an error message that can be ignored. This error means that your system cannot detect the file needed by @Mail to confirm that your system ran install.php on the command line. To solve, type in the following as root:

touch ATMAILDIR/.install

The spell-check feature is not working

Check that the path to the Spellcheck binary is valid. This is defined through your WebAdmin > Config > Spellcheck Configuration window. If you do not have the binaries, install a package from here to your server.

My database would not connect to @Mail.

Please verify that you have provided the right details for accessing the @Mail database. You can define this in your WebAdmin > Config > Database Configuration window.

I cannot receive mail from the outside

It may be that the MX record of the domain you are hosting does not point to your machine. Check that your MX records are configured correctly, then try to receive email again.

How do I customize my interface?

Since @Mail is based on a template, customizing the interface is relatively easy. Please visit our online documentation here.

I receive the error: The /usr/local/bin/gpg cannot be found...

This error indicates that @Mail cannot find your GNUPG binary pathname. The GNUPG binary is needed for users to be able to decrypt/encrypt email messages.

To solve, fill in the correct GNUPG pathname in WebAdmin > Config > System Configuration > GNUPG Pathname. Or, if you do not have the binary installed, install a package for your machine from: here.
