Configuring Online Forums

To improve the quality of your services and know the opinion of your customers and visitors on different matters, you can provide an online forum on your web page. On-line forums are web-based message boards where visitors can open new topics, post topic-relevant messages, and discuss a wide range of questions. Using the SiteBuilder Forum Editor, you can configure and set up an online forum in a few clicks.

To insert and configure an online forum for your web site:

  1. On the editor toolbar, click the Forum Editor icon. A rectangle representing the module appears on the web page.
  2. To configure the forum, double-click the module rectangle on the web page. The Forum Editor dialog box opens.
  3. On the Design page, select the design template for your forum. To preview the selected template, open the Preview tab.

  4. On the Properties tab, do the following:
  5. Click the Preview tab to preview your online forum as it will appear on your web site. Here you can try to create topics and submit answers.

  6. Click Apply to save the online forum and return to the main editor window.

To change the design or edit forum settings, double click the forum module rectangle in the main editor window and make necessary changes using the Forum Editor.
